Early this afternoon, I transmitted Newsletter No. 4. Check here if you did not receive it or would like to subscribe to get future editions. In the newsletter, I reported on a few things: (a) my visit to the AMCA Perkiomen Chapter National Meet in Oley, Pennsylvania this year. (b) two upcoming events I will be attending. (c) the positive news on the new book, Across America by Motorcycle – Fully Annotated Centennial Edition, which I expect to be able to announce a publication date within a week so people can pre-order their own copy. (d) completing the coast-to-coast timeline and road detail and the scheduling of the first mid-day stop along the way. (e) a whole host of mechanical details on the motorcycle. (f) the recent article about this journey in the AMCA magazine.
Almost immediately after I sent that newsletter, I confirmed my participation in another event, the Fourth Annual Motorcycle Ride in Honor of Veterans in Dayton, Ohio, on Saturday May 15, and it now looks like, not only will I be attending the Blessing of the Bikes in Xenia in less than two weeks, my bike and I will be on display – front and center.
