Final Preparations Underway

Newsletter No. 7
Thursday, June 27, 2019

It has been too long since my last newsletter, and work is piling up, but I wanted to get this out before my long day continues (started before 4:00 am today).

1. Reception and Sendoff Events in New York City: On July 3rd, I head out of Manhattan to Coney Island and will be returning to a reception at Triumph Brooklyn in Williamsburg followed by a sendoff party the next morning. We have a Facebook Event pages for both events:
Please consider attending. Click the link to "Going" even if you don't want to ride along!

2. The sales of my new book, Across America by Motor-Cycle – Fully Annotated Centennial Edition, continue. The eBook version is also now available on amazon.com, iTunes, etc. For the latest, see the Books page: https://acrossamericabymotorcycle.com/books/

3. Media interest continues I have lost track of how many interviews I have done, but am trying to keep a list of upcoming and recent appearance on the news and information page of the web site: https://acrossamericabymotorcycle.com/news-and-info/

4. Reception at Daniels Restaurant in Elkridge, Maryland on Saturday, July 6th. They have asked for a headcount so they can make this stop a success, so please go to the event Facebook page and RSVP for the event and check if you are (“Interested” or “Going”)!

5. More events planned. I will soon be adding more events to the Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/aabmc2019/). To help you avoid missing anything, if you have not already done so, please go to the the Facebook page and LIKE the page. That should help you be automatically informed of new events.

6. I now have the support and minimum escort riders lined up all the way across.  This morning, I finished the last of booking all the hotels for me and my crew. When I get a moment, I will be uploading the specific route details to the web site as Google Maps, but I also plan to provide the means for fans to track my position LIVE as I make my way. Stay tuned on the Route page:  https://acrossamericabymotorcycle.com/route/

7. I will be leaving home for the New York area on Monday, July 1st. I am working overtime trying to get as many additional administrative details nailed down as possible... as well as attending to the complete mechanical preparation of The Red One.

Questions? Comments? Please let me hear from you if there is something you would like to know more about or get involved in some way.

Until next time!

Sincerely,

Captain Mark Hunnibell
