Across America by Motor-Cycle:
 Test Driving the Red One

Here is a update to let you know that, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, I finally made it out to the grounds at Kil-Kare Speedway for some test driving of the Red One. With me was my grandson, Gabe, who did a nice job filming me and keeping the bike steady while I started the bike by spinning the rear wheel... the only way I can start it because I need the special flange to be able to use the kickstarter (HINT HINT!).

Anyway, thanks to the management at Kil-Kare Speedway, in Xenia, Ohio, I was able to unpack the Red One and do a bit of test driving in a completely sterile environment. I will be going out there a number of times over the next few weeks to build "muscle memory" that will come in handy in the urban environment of New York and the rest of the eastern seaboard where "stop and go" is going to be the order of the day much more than "go go go" will be out west.

I didn't bother narrating this video because I thought the sound was nice enough on its own. You can watch by clicking the image above, or go here:

Enjoy!
