We’re off like a herd of turtles!
The last 24 hours was a bit of a whirlwind getting ready to go but we’re on the road (departed precisely on time at 08:00am!) to Lawrence Kansas for overnight before our first day of riding tomorrow. We’ll get there around 7:00pm Central.
The bike is all clean and lubricated and ready for fueling tomorrow morning. Willie adjusted the valves last night before we stuffed the bikes (the Red One and Glen’s BMW K1600GT) into the trailer. I even managed to get the horn to work reliably... Aah-Ooh-Gah!
I just turned on my Garmin Montana to test the tracking I’ll be using on the trip. Here is a link to Garmin’s tracking: https://share.garmin.com/ND86G It shows my current location but also shows the historical tracks (until I figure out how to delete them).
